Interlake Inn & Restaurant is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer handicap-accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property. However, we are committed to doing whatever we reasonably can to make our property accessible.
The Interlaken is a historic boutique inn located in Lake Placid, New York. Due to the historic nature, layout, and structure of the property, The Interlaken is not handicap accessible and does not have elevators.
Guests should be aware that stairs may be required to access guest rooms, dining areas, and other areas of the property. At this time, the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or guests who require wheelchair-accessible accommodations.
